Metal Coaters Ohio

The Metal Coaters Ohio facility was acquired in 2011 when Metal Coaters, a business segment of NCI Group, Inc., acquired the former Material Science Corporation facility in Middletown, OH.

Metal Coaters, founded in 1987, is one of the largest coil coating companies in the United States, with light gauge Coil Coating facilities located in Marietta GA, Jackson MS, Middletown OH, and Rancho Cucamonga CA. Metal Coaters also operates heavy gauge Coil Coating facilities in Houston TX and Memphis TN, under the name of Metal Prep.

Metal Coaters Ohio is one of the largest coil coaters specializing in toll processing, in the Northern United States and operates twenty-four hours a day, five to seven days a week.

The facility covers over 154,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. The coil coating line itself is 624 feet long, two stories tall and requires 3,200 lineal feet of metal substrate to reach from entry to exit.
